1. Exercise, exercise, exercise. Yes, you had to know that this one would be up near the top of the list. However, what you maybe did not realize is that there are many every day things that you can do that will still increase your energy and get your heart pumping without the trappings of a traditional type of exercise. For example, play with the kids (or the dog) for 20 minutes in the yard, go for a nature hike in the park, and go swimming at the local YMCA pool.
